Please, I beg of you, pay no heed to the cringe-worthiness of my penname.
Six years ago, an eleven year old girl sat in front of the computer, wondering which of the many words she knew could be used as her username. All the thinking she had to do took at least half an hour — it would’ve been shorter if she hadn’t been distracted by the spinning computer chair. And thus, babedarlingpotter was born.
The little girl could not let go of the username as she perused the world wide web. Finally, on the year 2008, she stumbled upon a website that changed her life:FanFiction.net. There, she created an account and read the many stories about her favorite book, Harry Potter.
As time passed, the many fan fictions that the girl read expanded to different communities such as Twilight, Avatar: Last Airbender and Wizards of Waverly Place.
However, she was not just a reader, but a writer as well.
The first fic that babedarlingpotter ever wrote was a songfic entitled “You’ll Be Safe Here”. It was inspired by Rivermaya’s song of the same title. Since then, she moved on to writing novel-length fictions, mostly for Twilight. More recently, she has rediscovered her love for Harry Potter plot bunnies. (They’re just too fluffy to ignore!)
